Vault Installation

⚠️ Installation Note

This software hasn't been notarized by Apple. macOS will show security warnings. Follow the instructions below to install.

Quick Install (Recommended)

Run this command in Terminal:

curl -fsSL https://www.phizzog.com/downloads/mac/install.sh | bash

This script will download, install, and configure Vault to work on your Mac.

Manual Installation

  1. Download Vault

    Download Vault

  2. 2. Mount the DMG

    Double-click the downloaded file to mount it

  3. 3. Drag Vault to Applications

    Drag the Vault app to your Applications folder

  4. 4. Fix the Security Warning:

    Terminal method

    xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Vault.app

Troubleshooting

Still seeing "damaged" error?

  1. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security
  2. Look for a message about Vault being blocked
  3. Click "Open Anyway"
